Meet the potter.
My name is Anna! I’m an independent artist based in Santa Cruz, California, where I create pottery out of my private coastal studio. I’ve been playing with clay for eight years, and working as an artist for six.
I create functional, handmade pieces with sculptural or painted elements inspired by the California coastal environment. My work is functional for every day use (microwave and dishwasher safe!) and each item is also a small piece of art.
Find me at local markets in Santa Cruz and Monterey! You can also buy my work at UC Santa Cruz and special collections at Leaf and Vine downtown.
Product FAQs

Unless stated otherwise, yes you can! All pieces with gold luster, though, are not microwave-safe.

Yes! Unless stated otherwise, my pieces are fully vitrified, so they won’t get any damage from your dishwasher.
-
Ceramic pipes are super sturdy and can be cleaned just like a glass pipe! I recommend using 70%-90% isopropyl alcohol and salt, putting it in a bag, and shaking it up! Rinse afterward with some water:)
-
Yes! My pipes are fully vitrified and completely glazed with non-toxic, lead-free glazes, so they’re perfectly safe to smoke out of!
How to purchase my work!
-
I restock my site with new pottery around once a month! You can sign up to get an email reminder here.
My site will only be open for five days after I restock! After that, I close it and ship everything out. This allows me to spend most of my time creating art rather than dealing with shipping, handling, and inventory. Thanks for being patient with my system:)
-
I do not make individual custom pieces! I’ll occasionally take on a dinner set, if it’s in the style or similar to designs I already do!
-
Visit my instagram to see where I’ll be selling work in person next!
You can usually buy my slug wares at the UC Santa Cruz bookstore, and a few times a year I restock a collection of planters at Leaf and Vine downtown.
